Tift Family Reunion

The Tift family couldn't have had a better time at the lovely home we rented. Eleven of us, aged 2 to 65, fit easily and comfortably in the house, from which we visited Glacier National Park every day, enjoyed both Whitefish and Kalispell, and generally breathed in the local ambience. The house is even better in person than it appears in the photos online: the design, furnishings, and amenities were absolutely perfect. We ate dinner at the big table inside on one rainy evening, but mostly we ate meals out on the wonderful deck while the children played in the fenced-in yard beside us. Our favorite restaurant was Belton Chalet in West Glacier, a few yards from the turn off Rt 2 into Glacier N.P. Second favorite was El Pescado Blanco in Whitefish. Some of the children did the Alpine Slide at Big Mountain in Whitefish and waterslide/miniature golf activities between the house and West Glacier. Adults loved the hikes to Iceberg Lake and Grinnell Glacier in Many Glacier, as well as the wonderful Avalanche Lake trail on the west side. Then come back to your wonderful log home and rest well.
